The Problem
An idea that needed to become a product
WrkrsApp was an on-demand service marketplace concept connecting service providers with customers who need work done. The founders had the idea and the domain knowledge. What they didn't have was a structured product: a clear MVP scope, a delivery-ready spec, a roadmap that made tradeoffs explicit, or a way to keep engineering and design moving in the same direction.
Unclear MVP scope
No agreement on what to build first: the v1 had no boundaries.
No product structure
Missing BRD, user flows, and information architecture.
Unvalidated assumptions
Key hypotheses about how workers and customers would interact weren't tested.
Execution risk
High chance of building the wrong thing without structured specs.
My Approach
From concept to clarity
1
Discovery
Understood the problem, market, users, and competitors in depth.
2
Product Definition
Defined MVP scope, user personas, value proposition, and core flows.
3
Structuring
Built information architecture, user journeys, and wireframes.
4
Specifications
Created BRD, PRD, user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria.
5
Roadmap & Planning
Prioritised features, defined phases, and created the delivery roadmap.
6
Alignment
Facilitated stakeholder reviews and aligned the cross-functional team.
